Mandy Hung MA, RCC
With over 10 years of experience, I have worked with individuals and families to deepen their understanding of themselves, improve their relationships with others, and increase their quality of life.
I am passionate about supporting individuals to tune into who they are, and to build their intuition and awareness of their feelings and needs. I believe that by helping people gain insight and self-awareness, they can find and strengthen their voice to live a life that is more grounded, authentic, and connected. Clients say that my approach is gentle, warm, and respectful, and that they feel safe and cared for.
My lived experience of being an immigrant growing up in Canada provides me with an understanding of the intricacies of living within and between two cultures. I strive to help families navigate cultural and generational differences, supporting family members to communicate heart-to-heart, to truly hear and understand each other, and to integrate and find meaning in a bi/multi-cultural family. My career thus far has included working with youth, parents, caregivers, grandparents, and couples on topics such as parenting, relationship conflict, life transitions, cultural and generational gap, and emotional distress. I also have created and led parenting groups in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
